Slowish news week..

An oddly slow news week, only things of note happening is that some lame variant of MyDoom got released and some minor worms.. The only high point is the Mac OS X vulns, and that I got my PowerBook working again..

I think the PMU on my PowerBook is dead, or atleast that is what I think it be called, basically although it starts you get the chimes, the TFT doesn’t powerup, reseting the settings using the Command + Option + P + R ‘twister special’ key combo doesn’t work so the PMU reset from the back however did seem to do the trick, so now everytime you ‘Power Off’ you have to do this reset in order for it to start properly.. To be fair tho, the machine is one of the original Titanium PowerBook G4 so it is a little long in the tooth, tho it did get a mainboard replaced in 2003 cos someone split juice on it and blew it and therefore it needed repairing..
