AirTunes Rules

July 30, 2005 – 3:01 pm

Well so the other day I bought an Airport Extreme and an Airport Express to build my aging Wireless infrastructure for the flat.

The main reason for going with the Apple kit was the ease in which configuring the WDS environment was. Within a few minutes I’d setup the network again, then yesterday I enabled WPA once I’d got V.2 firmware on the PSP which supports WPA now which is cool. With the Extreme upstairs and the Express downstairs to provide some extra coverage.

Today I’ve been playing with AirTunes.. I have to say I’m impressed it is way cool.. I can now play music on the stereo down stairs from the Mac upstairs from the music collection on there.

I need to find a pigtail for the Extreme base station to enable the connection of my big Omni antenna.
