Hmm.. Google Adsense
July 30, 2005 – 3:31 pmI’m still trying to figure out why google adsense is not working well on the VDot site.
The changes I made the other day are not having a marked effect, it is actually very irritating. The two main changes are the page keywords, these where changed significantly to include keywords from within the page as well as some standard ones. Then the inclusion of a huge number of URLs in the ad filters within the google setup. Problem is it is still the same ads being shown with just with different URLs, plus they are not changing with the changes in content on the site.
There is something within the page that is biasing the keywords that google is using to select the ads to be placed by adsense. Need to figure this out, cos it is hurting my revenue from google which I pay the hosting bits with…
