Weekend In Rome

Well after coming to Rome last week on a job, this week I’m still here.. So on Friday I flew Liza to Rome so she could come see the city. We had a good time, Friday night we did dinner and then some club and then on Saturday recover, it was raining all day Saturday so we didn’t go out until the evening when it cleared up. On Sunday however it was a great day, we started off by going to the Vatican, Liza took some pictures we queued to get in, and we attempted to get in to the Museum but it was closed. After queuing in the sun for a couple of hours we gave up trying to get in so we went on a wander, we went instead to the castle near the Vatican for a great view of the city.
After some lunch we did the roman ruins and the collessium then back to the hotel..
Then in the evening we went to this restuarant we had visited earlier in the week, which was awesome. Well worth a visit if your in Rome and don’t mind visiting a italian restuarant on the edges of the city which is family run and has awesome food and wine. The restuarant is called La Cascina on Via dell Capannelle Number 223.
