A simple eye test

Yesterday I went for a simple eye test, well it started as that. After about 10 mins of the eye test when the optician was looking into my eye checking them out she basically stopped the test and told me to take a trip to the Western Eye Hospital.

What she had noticed was some damage to my cornea which more than likey was the cause of the vision problem in my left eye. Here was me thinking it was time for me to wear glasses.

So what should have been a quick lunchtime thing turned into spending the rest of the afternoon in the Western Eye hospital A&E waiting to see a doctor. Which in the end I did, it turns out I have an infection in my eye, which has caused my tear ducts to fail to work properly. The result is that my eye dried out a bit and has caused an old cut on my cornea to open up again, resulting in the vision problem.
