Well been a little while since I moved the Virus.Org site to joomla, but one thing that at the time didn't migrate is the default password database. Well today after I'd cleared the out standing tasks to be done for the scanner site I started finally on the Joomla component ...

Well added a new virus scanner over the weekend and sorted some fixes eventually.
The Apache Fix that was causing the 100% CPU was down to two different versions of the same Apache2::Request module. Which when the module cache was reloaded would pull in a buggy version from the perl ...

Well time to remove the virus scanner Avira from the scanning service since it no longer exists. But I added McAfee's command line scanner as I managed to get a copy of that.
Currently trying to figure out why the Apache install on the scanner box is eating 100% CPU time ...

Well 10th Oct was a big day for Windows XP users, it was the last day of support for SP1. No more patches for SP1 users from Microsoft, so I've had to reluctantly move all my machines from SP1 to SP2.
Bit of a pain as I still have a lot ...
