Well figured out more about the nature of the DDoS, they are attempting a Keep-Alive exploit to starve the machine of resources.
Plus spent a good chunk of yesterday contacting ISPs to get machines taken down, with some success..

Was thinking something today upon hearing Tony Blair's most recent statement about Afghanistan.
