Feed Misuse

I’ve been watching for a long time someone that has been scraping the RSS feed off VDot and then using on their link farm site. Now to a certain extent I tolerated this because they would keep a link back to the full article on the VDot site. Thus anyone that actually read it via their site would get directed to me to read the full story.

However, they have stopped doing this and now they have made it to my ’shit list’ of people that can no longer use content from the VDot site.

Now this outfit do this to loads of people, and all I see they do is rip off the RSS feed wrap it into their poorly templated site that has more google adsense blocks than I think is allowed in the program just to probably ‘farm’ cash from google. They have I’m betting an artificially high page rank for their pages too just so they can make revenue.
