I cannot move.. Ho Hum…

Hmm.. Second day I cannot hardly move… That will teach me for eating so much Turkey… There was a time when you’d only have Turkey on Christmas and maybe at Easter, these days you can pretty much have it any time so it seems to have lost it’s novelty. I think next year we should have something different, maybe Goose..

I think this year the planners of the Christmas TV line up kind of phoned in their plan.. So far all I can say is ‘BORING’, nothing new, nothing fun, just some crappy films, the same old reality crap we get every other day. The Soaps tried some gripping story lines, i see Emmerdale had a murder, Eastenders had a death too, but that one was a major dead squib. The only thing that would have made both more interesting was say, if we didn’t know that these events was going to happen.. Please SURPRISE US!!!!

I mean if I’d turned on Eastenders last night and found watch to find one of the longest serving cast members die and you knew nothing about it, it would have me glued to watch the next few episodes to find out what and why. Instead for the last two+ weeks the BBC have been plugging the death of Pauline Fowler, hell my Mum knew how she was to die and everything and she never watches it. BORING!!!!!!

Think about it, you’ve got almost the entire population of the country at home. You’ve got a couple of prime periods of the day when you can be pretty much certain that they will be in front of the TV, do something special.. Don’t fill it with repeats, or predictable stories and especially don’t do any of the reality TV crap, do something fun, interesting and fresh. Or else you’re going to find no one will watch the ‘regular’ TV channels and switch to just the plain movie channels, sport channels or the Internet. I for one voted with my feet, I stood up (it was quite some effort too) and went to play Everquest 2 to fight the boredom of the Christmas day TV line up.
