Apparently Tony Blair Isn’t Leaving Office

In a comment I heard today apparently Tony Blair wants have Gun Crime dealt with before he leaves office.. I’m beginning to think he thinks he may be in office for the next decade or so.. I bet Gordon Brown is going to be pissed..

But seriously making statements like this is dumb, gun crime will not be fixed by politicians.. It is a problem with society as a whole and will only get dealt with by everyone. Sometimes I think the constant tinkering and creation of the nanny state by politicians actually increases the behavior.

I don’t have the answer, I think that respect and discipline is a major part of a solution, but at it stands at the moment there are very few role models in society that instill this into the youth of today.
