Sailors Selling up

Someone correct me if I’m getting this wrong.. But on joining the forces you sign up to the Official Secrets Act, which prohibits you sharing things like operational details with the media and the like unless the information has been declassified.

Surely the Sailors taken by Iran during a military operation (therefore covered by Official Secrets Act) selling their stories to the press would be breaking the OSA? Therefore they should be arrested and charged.
