This is my code page, on here I will present a small selection of the programs and projects I’ve written and I’m working on.
Virus.Org Portal - Virus.Org is a project I originally started with Reaper Technologies however since I left Reaper Technologies I am running this solo. The goal is to provide IT Security News and Information for the IT Security Professional, the site is managed using the latest Joomla 1.5 CMS, with a number of modifications to add extra security and several components to provide functionality.
Virus.Org Scanner - Malware scanning service that is part of the Virus.Org site, the current release is based on Ruby, using Ruby on Rails, utilising Backgroundrb, Swiftiply and Mongrel. Has a large selection of Linux command line based scanners and can even use scanners that have ICAP access as the core scanner modules have support for both. A backend for Anti-Virus company access is also provided and also written in Ruby within Ruby on Rails.
Ruby Netcraft Module - Ruby Module to perform queries of the Netcraft Site Report service that can be found here.
RSAEuro - This was a major project started in 1994 and I finally closed the doors on this project in 2002. Combination of not enough time and other Crypto Libraries out there which are more mature and had more features.
RC5 Cipher Implementation - The first revision of this was back in 1995 and since then I’ve made various revisions to improve the code and improve performance. This version was designed for use on 32-bit processors.
File Assassin - A secure file deletion tool for Windows NT/95, written in conjunction with Reaper Technologies and this project is completed.
Authentication gateway - Written in Perl originally used on the main Reaper Technologies website.
